ResearchPad - main‐group-chemistry Default RSS Feed en-us © 2020 Newgen KnowledgeWorks <![CDATA[Ligand Effects on the Electronic Structure of Heteroleptic Antimony‐Centered Radicals]]> Radical tuning: Three unprecedented heteroleptic stibanyl radicals were synthesized and their electronic structures elucidated by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, EPR spectroscopy, UV/Vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, and DFT calculations. The boryl‐substituted radical undergoes one‐electron reduction to give the corresponding stibanyl anion, which was shown to possess partial Sb−B double‐bond character.
